Professor Zhu Hongjun is the second grade professor and doctoral supervisor of School of chemistry and molecular engineering of Nanjing University of technology, and the chairman of Jiangsu Agricultural Chemistry and chemical engineering professional committee. His main research directions are fine organic synthesis, atomic economic technology development and industrial water saving source control technology development, OLED new material design, synthesis and application, metal organic chemistry, asymmetric synthesis, pesticide chemistry Advanced catalytic technology and applied chemistry, etc.

At the seminar, Li Jianjun mainly shared the organizational structure, research direction, development strategy and current construction progress of the Research Institute, and stated the existing products and technical problems.

Professor Zhu Hongjun introduced the members of the project team and the research direction, and explained "chemical synthesis and its related advanced technologies", including the research on the advanced technology for the production of environmentally friendly new materials, pesticides and other chemicals, the research on the advanced technology for pharmaceutical production, and the research on the advanced catalytic technology, etc. Professor Zhu said that the two sides have a lot in common in research topics and development directions. They can seek cooperation in upgrading existing varieties and Beihai new projects, jointly research and develop incubation projects, and finally implement transformation in Huanghai Research Institute and Huanghai science and Innovation Industrial Park.
