Fluazifop-p-methyl

Fluazifop-p-methyl is a highly efficient, highly selective, low residual herbicide. The herbicide transmitting stem leaf processing, and inhibition of fatty acid synthesis. It has a strong killing effect on grass weeds and is safe for broad-leaved crops.

Pure grade of Fluazifop-p-methyl is colorless liquid while its Tech is brown or light yellow. Property is stable while it is easy-not to volatilize and photolysis. It is insoluble in water while soluble in organic solvents. It is easily soluble in various organic solvents such as acetone, dichloromethane, methanol, propylene glycol, xylene, toluene and ethyl acetate at room temperature, and is hardly soluble in water.

Fluazifop-p-methyl synthesis process: Hydroquinone and R-2-Bromide Butyl Propionate are condensed, then into ether reaction with 2-chloro-5-trifluoromethylpyridine.
