Propisochlor is a selective prebud
herbicide with internal absorption conduction. It is absorbed mainly by the
young shoots of weeds. In the soil stability is small, stable to light, for
soil microbial decomposition. The effective period was 60-80 days, and had no
effect on later crops.
Propisochlor is a light brown to
purple oily substance with a fragrant smell. Melting point is 21.6 ¡æ, boiling
point 399.3 ¡æ, water soluble 184 mg/l, soluble in most organic solvents.
